08 1125R weeping antifreeze

Hello BuellXB! I had a 02 Cyclone M2 and sold it (loved it)

Now I'm a new 08 1125R owner. It had 1800 miles when I bought it original owner too. It has a new battery (unrelated but figured I'd disclose) I've put about 200 miles or so on it and kept smelling antifreeze. Now I've finally found where it was coming from. The right side of the engine where the small coolant hoses attach (I believe its the water pump cover) it is weeping out of the weep hole toward the top rear of the cover. I do not have the service manual for this bike yet.

I am not convinced this is the bike I want to ride yet. It is not starting off well for me. I may end up selling, not sure yet?

Any ideas on why it is weeping antifreeze?
What is this very rare low mile bike worth if I remarket it?

There was a recall at some point over a leaking water pump seal. Its on the clutch side and requires dissasembly to get to it.

Ive seen some reports of minor weeping that goes away after some miles maybe its sat awhile and the seal needs to heat up again?

Thanks for the info Cosworth! It seams to have stoped, I've been riding it so the seal must have worn in.

What is this bike worth if I remarket it??? It has about 2900 miles on it now. I have the original muffler and windscreen. I'm not sure if I'm a twin guy. I sure like my inline 4's.

I must say I've had a lot of fun riding this bike though, just wondering what it's really worth from a community who knows.

It's worth at least $5k, probably more even though it has the coolant leak.
