Can the pinstripe be removed on the cr rims easily? Is powder coated on or painted?

Run your fingernail over the edge of the pinstripe. If it's raised, it's more than likely a vinyl decal. If so, they're pretty easy to remove.

It has been a while since I looked closely at one but I'm pretty sure it is paint.

Looking at mine I don't think the stripe would come off cleanly, it appears painted or bonded plastic. Not just a sticker.

When you ask a question (whether it's on the Internet or in person), don't be a dick with a reply like that. Someone posted a reply to your question. Learn to say "thank you" next time. "I'm not dumb." Uh huh. Yet you're the one asking whether the $1800 Gixxer is a scam. Is there a facepalm emoticon on this board?

+1 sprk_sprd. Renegade, your response was more than adequate. Didn't need a ****ty comment.
