Blast will not go into gear

I just picked up a blast a few days ago it was dumped at low speeds apparently. When I got it it wasn't running I got it atarted and running good however when I go to shift I hear a clunk and or grinds and then stalls out and it never goes into gear. Even when bike is off it will kind of go in but I can push the bike. Any help is appreciated thanks

Adjust the clutch and shift pawl per the manual.

Jetlee I tore the bike down was going to drop the motor tomorrow figuring it had to be internal since it wouldn't even go into gear. If you think that will work it looks like I won't have to drop the motor?

If I thought you needed to split the cases, I would've said so. There's a good chance you only need to do these two adjustments. It takes less than an hour.

Ok so I finally had some time to try and wrench it myself. My only question (so far) lol is how to get the clutch pack off? The pieces on the right side once you remove the primary cover
