ASB

as far as headlights go, you can do a xenon conversion. Just look for a kit with a slim ballast and H3 bulbs

is this something that will be difficult is there wiring involved or do i just change the bulbs i haven't really dug into it to much

I haven't done it yet, but it seems like a H3 kit would have a H3 type connector. That would extend the wire to the ballast, then another wire to the bulb. Worst case scenario is you would cut off a connector and solder 2 wires for each bulb, total of 4 wires. I would do the soldering regardless, giving you perfect cable length. Make sure you heat shrink your solders for a water tight seal. The best hiding spot I have seen for the ballasts is under the airbox cover, assuming you have a open airbox mod.

And just about any blinkers will work. You just have to get a bit creative with the mock up. http://www.buellxb.com/buell_images/1308_2008 ... Those front blinkers are generic aftermarket flush mounted, I remember having the same exact set on my FZR. Id really like to know what he did in the back for flush mounts tho. What do you guys think of just modding the stock back blinkers with a cut and shave it down a little bit?

I did the HID conversion on my headlights (XB-12R), it required no wiring (all plug-and-play) - the only minor difficulty was finding a place for the ballast (I put mine beneath the fairing stay on the left-hand side).  It is way, way better than stock.
