| Screaming be careful with the highpoint. My buddy "didn't care" either and his now couldn't hit the broad side of a barn at 10 meters (the barrels get hot and warp) Rock on with it, but be forewarned. I'd clean that highpoint up and have it in a zip-lock just in case you need to use it. Then carry something else for the show of force. | |

thaloc i think i remeber you from the xd web forum.
i use to live there LOL. Never could do a hi point but if it works for you great i never leave a loaded gun anywhere it is on me till i place it on the night stand. I like my springfield loaded champion but steel frames are heavy and on the bike i want somthing i can carry in my breast pocket where the chance of impact is the least

nice pistol RT. I'm looking at getting an operator myself. I sold my XD357 service model right before I deployed only so I can pick up the XDM when I get home. I love my XD I put in the lasermax guide rod and was set. I did have to send the lasermax back one time to adjust the spring, the spring pressure wasn't enough for the rounds I was using and caused failure to feed every once in a while. only cost to me was shipping though great company and product. I'll be doing the same with the XDM. you can't beat an internal laser.

RT the PPS from walther looks like a great breast pocket option. I'll be "buying one for the wife." I'll just have to borrow it when i ride

Someone told me that if you throw a spark plug at a wind sheild it will instantly crystalize. The white ceramic on it is really hard or something. That would be funny as hell. ![]()

I keep the ceramic from old sparkplugs in the breast pocket of my jacket. one quick grab and over the shoulder. You should see what ceramic/porceline does to auto glass! LMFAO just thinking about it!

Tank,
How are you taking the ceramic off the plug or do you mean throw the whole plug itself? I had a guy almost run me over the other day and when I laid on the horn the MF flipped me off! If there wasnt so many witnesses around I would have had to do something about it. |

Has anybody ever thought of bringing any of these in like a little baggy or something readily available?
just hope it stops the psycho chasing you and not the guy behind him.

| I used my helmet once. A guy almost killed me by runing a red light so he could get to the gas on the otherside of the intersection. I pull up got off my bike ask him what a red light means. He said he was sorry. I told him I was sorry about all the dents after I bashed the side of his chevy pickup. I need a new helmet now going to carry a hammer, helmets can be $$$. | |

| I have a Buell Tank Mask that I keep large flat washers in the mesh pocket. They are cheap, lightweight and get a dumbass's attention when they bounce across a windshield. In Florida, this time of year, we are invaded by snowbirds and most of them are either deaf, blind or both. | |

You can sign me up for one of those Rocket launchers. Do they have those with sidewinders? To many snow birds here.

Old thread, but I figured I could add my two cents since I'm learning how to use my new camera and needed to do something with these pictures (still too cold to shoot the bike)
Any ways the wife and I have our faves.... and here they are!
Sophisticated...
Not so sophisticated....
Down right dirty....

| me, my wife and my dog was on a 6 hour trip from Louisiana to Texas were I was picking up my bike and my dog. well it was cold that day and all we have is a car and the bike so my wife and dog was in the car and I was in front on the bike. we had pulled over so I could warm up and so my wife could walk the dog. When she opened the door the dog jumped out the door and ran across the road, well there was a guy in a Lincoln truck that even though he seen the dog decided not to stop and hit the dog. Luckily the dog was ok and he came back over to were we was and I hoped on my bike no gloves or helmet freezing cold and hauled butt to to catch the truck that did it and i seen him up the road on the side of the road checking to see if my dog messed up his truck. As I passed by the truck i slowed down and gave his drivers door a swift kick then I pulled over to kick his head in and as I was getting off my bike he ran into his truck and sped off. | |

| i hate dumbasses like that, probably some rich prick that didn't care. I mean if there was no time to slow down that is one thing but just to not even bother tapping the breaks or maneuver just isn't right. Glad your dog is ok. | |

My carry toys a Sig 220 .45 and a Kahr PM9, Usually both or at least the Kahr in my back pocket. Always two folders though. I like the Cold Steel Recon cause its tough as hell but its big. The Spyderco is much slimmer.
Slice or puncture, its all the same to me!
I like to reload too! Jim |

I don't carry, but if i did, it would be this
Ronin1: If you like slim try the Benchmade Pardue 530. It's really easy to forget you have it and it's so slim if you fall on it you still won't feel it there. I use mine as a utility knife more than anything and it's a f*ing tank. as for anti traffic.. Carbon fiber knuckled gloves hold up very well against side mirrors. Side mirrors don't hold up too well against CF knuckled gloves though. |

For a folder I carry a Kershaw Ken Onion... Not as slim, but I like the spring assist and the grip is very ergonomic (easy to grip firmly for wet work)lol.

He loves that thing Yeah, all the "experts" say its not good for personal defense (not enough stopping power with shells) but I think a face full of bird shot at four feet will stop anyone... Besides what is more fun to shoot than a compact hand cannon???? I cant think of much...
