I don't have either right now.  Love to hear your expert opinions on either.

Also, anyone using an after market seat for 04 Firebolt?   After 3 hours my ass is numb!  Is there anything more comfortable than stock?

Thanks in advance!

I got Pucks in lieu of Sliders because the pucks actually recess about 2 inches so if the bike is dropped your highest point will touch the ground and give you that buffer zone. Granted the sliders cover the frame. Good luck with whatever you choose.

you have to have pucks.  Sliders will help, but the pucks will save you, plus there alot cheaper

About your seat, I've done 15hrs in one day on my 05 bolt and my ass was fine.  Numb yes, but still fine.  Cheapest solution is to get those biciclist shorts with the gel pads

Thanks for the response...looks like pucks it is!

Sorry, didn't mean recessed.. meant Stick out 2 inches. That's what happens when you have a State of Florida education,lol..

You should be able to guy a gel seat right from Buell for your bike.  THey are a little expensive but people who use them like them.

Or you could go with the custom seat that you can get from the buellxb store, they are a bit pricey, but have a lot more padding for added comfort.

Right...I emailed you about a week ago about your sliders...you haven't responded.  Think I'm going with the pucks anyway.

I'm thinking about a cage, powers stuntworx has 'em and 12bars. but I'd think sliders would be a better choice.

how much did you pay for the bike cage on your buell?
Posted:  16 Mar 2008 10:57 [?]
that's the stuntworx bike.. I haven't gotten one yet but the cage runs $320.00 and the 12bar runs $150.00 on a bad day. call 'em they'll probably wheel and deal.
