I'm sure i'm not the only person that realizes this, but i've not seen it mentioned anywhere on here.
Anyway, I just wanted to let anyone know that didn't know already that 97-03 gsx-r600 levers fit our bikes. I bought a pair of these.. http://www.d2moto.com/1995-2003-Suzuki-GSXR-6 ... They were $21 shipped for the brake AND clutch lever. They are pretty much the exact same as the factory levers. The only thing i had to do was take a metal file and take some material off the brake lever where it contacts the switch and whatever else it hits. That only took about 10minutes though and after that, they fit perfectly. I just wanted to let you all know since there's a shitload of companies out there that make gixxer levers in all colors of the rainbow and for far less expensive than OEM replacements. BTW. the black ones in the link are actually very glossy and the adjustment wheel is chrome, not black. |

I couldn't get a picture of where i had to grind down the lever. I think the only reason i had to grind them down is because of how inexpensive these were. They do seem well made, but i think they just didn't put a whole lot of time into test fitting their product.. The way i found out these worked is because i was searching ebay for a replacement clutch lever after i dropped my bike (like a dumbass) and bent the lever. Some guy listed one as fitting buell xb and gsx-r. |

I don't think those levers would fit, icepop, as they're listed as fitting the 06-09 gsxr600.
Ours are the same as 97-03 gsx-r600, 95-03 gsx-r750, 01-04 gsx-r1000. I can't say for sure that they wouldn't fit, but from what i've seen all the gixxers after the ones i listed use completely different levers. these should work though... 97-03 gixxer750 levers |

if you want a shorty set from that Shinetrust company.... try this set....
Shinetrust Shorties for '97 Gixxer **you'll probably still have to file down the nub on the brake lever... |

I'm not sure what ours look like but I found these GSXR levers and was wondering if they might work.?. $55.00 shipped seems reasonable.

| Wow, I though those shine trust levers were cheap... Those Fire Dragon Bros levels look just as good for $10 less. Anyone ever use them? $50 vs $170 is looking very tempting. | |

Hi all, joined a while back but not been around very often!
Saw this post and thought I'd give it a go, just ordered a set of the Fire Dragon shorties in black. I'll report back on how they fit... or don't! |

| I just completed this mod as well. Way cheaper than buell black levers. Haven't gotten to try them yet because of the weather here in NY. They look good and feel the same as stock. I didn't really have to grind anything down. | |

cool, xlr8n_xb.
Just make sure it's not engaging the brakes with the lever all the way out like mine was. |

Supposed to be coming next week sometime i think, cronus, thanks for that i'll make sure it's not!
If it's the part to grind down i think it is i'll make a little template up and upload the shape so it can be marked out easily for anyone else that wants to do the mod. I've not been this excited since i got my exhaust before christmas....
