So I order the filter and should be here today if not tomorrow. I was wondering if I had to do anything else besides dropping it in? Well I need to do a tps reset? How much would that cost at a dealership? I have the stock ecm. Will I need to do anything to that at all?

If you are just getting the filter you just drop it in you shouldn't have to worry about the TPS reset from changing the filter only.

I just got upgraded my filter to a K&N also and asked the bike shop the same question. As long as it is just the filter, you will NOT have to do anything.
Add a pipe and/or computer, then YES!

I have a Jardine Pipe and my K&N filter is on it's way. I thought the bike re-mapped itself after these things. I put the pipe on, rode around the neighborhood and it ran funky for 5 min and then was fine. Will the addition of an air filter mess everything up? How much is a TPS reset. I do not have a race ECM installed.
