I want to be able to see behind me from both upright and tucked positions. I was thinking a second pair of small mirrors, but thats a bit lame. Does anyone have any good ideas to increase my visibility for both positions?

Mount a set bicycle helmet mirrors. Seriously though not much you could do here other than a rear mounted camera and monitor.

Nah...waterproof LCD's aren't "the in thing" right now. I don't really want 4 mirrors on the bike, it'll look like a disco ball.

1. a good mirror would give you that option
2. bugeyes is an option, but it looks ridiculous if you ask me
3. reevu helmets with integrated rear-view mirror.

What about a small convex mirror similar to what people use when hauling trailers? They would fit right on your stock mirrors with adhesive. Sorta like bi-focal glasses, but for mirrors

If you're tucked, chances are you should be much more concerned about what's in front of you than behind. Only time I'm really tucked is when I'm flyin'...and nothing behind me has much relevance at that point. The danger at that point is in front.

Seirra BMW sells thoughs 1" convex mirrors. I have them and they work great. I had them on my stock mirrors and my new mirrors from the 1125R on my XB12R. Its the jiggling mirrors that really suck though.
