Looking at getting top and side cases and the price I'm getting from the dealer/Buell Australia is 80% more than the US RRP.  Even generously allowing for tax and import duties it's still a $500 AUD rip off. Any other way I can get these things into the country witrhout involving Buell Australia?

Ask buellxb, see if you can work something out with him, if not let me know.  I can do some checking and see how much it would cost if you make it worth my while.   I work at a dealer.
