I have a 03 XB9R, I am looking to replace the two black(on my model)fiberglass inlays that are mounted on the front fairing just behinde the headlights.I called my local dealer, since it was a Buell question they weren't much help, they told me that the 2 pieces were part of the front fairing and to look on ebay.Is this true? Do I need to get a whole new fairing to replace these? If so, that was an expensive rock that hit my bike!Anyone know about this? Can I get them without buying a new fairing?

Hey BPG, I was just thinking about painting mine. Do I have to remove the entire fairing in order to take them off?

They are just taped on there.  You can just carefully remove them.
