Has anyone used the ceramic coated pipes that are found at american sportbike? I am wondering if they discolor or chip. Also how is the overall finnish?I am thinking of ordering a set and then sending mine back to minimise down time.

It would be cheaper to just get your stock pipes ceramic coated. And as far as discoloring they shouldnt, I have buddies who have done turbo setups on their trucks and the ceramic coated headers hves never colored and those heat up more than a bike header will. And the chipping will depend on the quality of work of who ever does the coating. Brandon

Nice, it didnt even dawn on me to have it done on my own. I bet I can even find a shop localy, thanks.
