Do I really need a compressing tool to change my front fork sliders on my XB9? Please share knowledge. Thanks

Technically, you can do it without one, but it isnt fun.  Just pick up a service manual and it will cover the whole way to do it.

Thanks. However i did look in the manual and it does illustrate how to use the tool. So how will go about exactly doing that?

Well my best advice to you is, if you dont know how to tackle it yourself, have someone help you that is there that has already done it before or pay a shop to do so.  Hate to see you mess up your forks trying to save a few bucks when it will cost you more in the long run if it ends up getting messed up.  If you have read the the manual and still dont understand it, I dont know how else I can help you with being there to show ya.  The manual gives a full description on how to do it.
