OK, got cable and disk in and installed, reset TPS but had some issues with software. When on the Gauges screen and I start bike, gauges do not do anything. Tach stays at 0 and such. When I adjusted the idle mixture I could only see the rpm and tps changes by going to the diagnostics tab and running it and then going back to gauges tab. What's going on here?

do you have windows vista? i know a few buddys with vista and for some reason ecm spy does some weird stuff with vista... i have an old peice of junk laptop with xp on it to just run ecm spy lol... works much better

Do you guys think a little ebook/netbook would be okay to run ecmspy? I have a Mac so I was going to buy someehing cheap to run it

Browland- just got a little netbook for my ECMspy and it works greatl. + some gps mapping and itunes. cheers

xopti used to sell it. xotpiinside.com  & ecmspy.com  you can build your own cable  it shows you how to at xotpiinside.com  ..  or just search for ecmspy cable on ebay is where i got mine and it came with cd with instructions and stock and race ecm maps for about $45. also search here in the post scroll down to ecm spy / tuning mods. lots of info here http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/General ...

So any suggestions as to what maps to use in Southern California. I have a new Hawk pipe and while the top end is nice I've got a hole in the low mid range now.
