Anyone have the Firebolt tailbags?
http://www.buell.com/en_us/gear/accessories/p ... How do you like them? I just picked up the tailbag and I can make it work with the existing saddlebags that I have but now I'm wondering if I should just get the matching set. Anyone want to get rid of theirs or know a dealership dumping a set? |

| They are nice, don't own them but have seen them on a Bolt. They were just too pricey for what they are in my opinion. Cortech or Nelson Rigg makes bags that work and are way less money. | |

| I've got the Lightning Long bags right now - I can make them fit but it's taking too much effort! Haha | |

| How do you attach them? Any pics? I've tried a few different ways and don't like any of them so far. | |

Wow you burned a hole in them from your tire and still bought another set for $230? You must really like them
I got Nelson Rigg mini's and they have the same capacity. Don't look as good but only cost $98 delivered.

I think i paid 150 for the first set and 100 for the second.
as you can see in this picture the bags are slung kind of low. Now instead of tying off the front of the bags on the passenger pegs I tie the front off on the hole just below the driver seat. There is frame right behind it so you wont crack the plastic. |

Now, as you can see, the bags sit much higher.
And dont seem to pull in towards the rear tire. |

Quote: That's a good deal then. So they fit like mine too right? The front strap sits on the rear of your seat instead of both straps being under the pillion?! On and the way you have them strapped now, does it still stay up high even when loaded?
I think i paid 150 for the first set and 100 for the second |

| yeah, it stays up high when loaded, and when I unzip the extension to pack more stuff in, They barely move now, you just need to find a place to tie off all the excess strap. | |
