| Excuse my ignorance but I am new to Buell ownership and this forum. Drilled some holes in the inner airbox of my '03 XB9S a couple days ago. Today between 3500 and 4000 RPM there is a lag during quick acceleration in first gear. Nothing when taking it easy or in another gear even at the same points in band. After 4000 bike mans-up again. Any ideas? | |

| if you drilled enough holes, the bike may not be getting enough fuel now. since ~3500RPM is already a weak point on these bikes (especially with a more open exhaust) it makes sense that you would notice it most there. ride it easy for awhile, see if the AFV can compensate. if not, you may need a tune. | |

My bike just started doing the same thing yesterday. It has to be the weather change. It's hot as blue blazes outside----96 right now at 5:25pm
