clutchlite doesn't fit the xb...it does fit the tuber, though.
Is the Muller power clutch and the Clutchlite the same thing? Or do you get just the inside ramp with the clutchlite? I ask because if they are the same, I just spent a grip on the Muller power clutch.

Ahhh, Thanks LeFox. I was getting a little bummed out for a minute. I was thinking I spent a bunch more money for nothing. The website reads it fits Buells 95 to present.
Here is the site I saw the Clutchlite at..
http://www.phatperformanceparts.com/...=CC-CLUTCHLITE
the clutchlite itself has no buell section on it.
it was designed in 2002, which was before the xb models. since the xb doesn't use an identical sportster engine, like the tuber, my bet is it doesn't fit.
+ the muller is totally different in design.
the Custom Chrome Clutchlite will work on XBs but I thought I read somewhere a while ago it wasn't the best fit. all I can find now is great reviews from XB riders. it's only the ramp, nothing else.
i went the Free Spirits 'Soft Clutch' route and love it. this is only an extended arm for leverage, nothing else.
dont feel bad about your purchase, zoedogg, you got the top-of-the-line aftermarket part with the Muller. full mechanism replacement.
Cool, I was feeling a little dumb for a minute. I didnt research it much lately. I looked into it all about a year ago and went on the hunch that it was all the same info. You guys helped confirm what I was thinking...Thanks..
Are your Buell XB old?
From 2005 or 2006 Buell changed to a ramp making clutch smoother. I got one and just remember, this ramping mechanism will not work with extra clutch plate kit.
Mines an '04. I replaced the ramp, cable, and put my new levers on. Man, what a difference... I noticed that the old clutch cable doesnt have a sheath over the cable itself but the new one does. I think it may be the original cable. I love the new set up though. The Muller clutch and a new cable was exactly what I needed, and was easy as pie to replace. I have noticed that I have needed to adjust the cable adjustment a few times since it has started seating itself. Other than that its been perfect....a world of difference.
I just installed the Muller Power Clutch Ramp on my 2009 XB12Scg.
It works just as fantastic as it does on my 04 XL883C and 05 XL883L. Same part number and fit. It REALLY does reduce clutch effort dramatically; especially since I switched to Pazzo Shorty Levers.
Now, these ebay special Easy Clutch ramp extenders will definitely NOT work with the XBs as the engine case housings are smaller than on the XL's.
I consider the price as fair and effective for what it does...
