...now you need the carbon airbox cover to tie it all together:p
So after seeing some of you plasti dip your Buells it got me thinking. I bought all the supplies from dipyourcar.com and decided to go with burnt copper alloy. Its raining today so I couldn't snap any outside pictures, but there is a ton of pearl in it and really pops outside. This stuff is really easy to use and relatively inexpensive. What do you think?
Before photo, and no I didn't paint the wheels, I bought amber wheels, but the black wheels are for sale.

I bought the Valencia orange airbox cover thinking it would be a good match; I was somewhat wrong but I'm pleased with it.
Wonder how the durability of the dip is? And how do you clean and maintain the plasti dip, is their anything that will cause it to come off?
Here is an outside photo I took a couple of weeks ago. The photo doesn't do it justice.
I've read that it should last up to 3 years and around 1 year when always out in the sun. You can wash it like regular paint or injected color-molded plastics (what we all have). I did buy stuff called "Protect Your Dip" that is supposed to give it a smooth finish (it has), protect it against scratching, and protect against UV rays from the sun. We shall see it holds up. To me, it seems like quick wax that you buy in the auto section of any store.
Looks killer! Even in those photos!
I have a love hate relation ship with plastidip, so easy to paint, almost impossible to get a run, never blotchy. But after a year it just doesn't go back to being as clean looking when first applied. But just peel it off and do it again.
Plastidip has really come a long way. That looks great!
Since you are asking for opinions I'll give mine.... I don't like it, tho I don't like that red with the silver frame either.
Good thing that the only opinion that matters is yours! As long as you like it
