I  removed the one inside and this one is plummed directly to the throttle body. it gets cold rammed air rihgt at the throttle body. The biggest thang I noticed was the throttle response is way better and it pulls a lot harder then before( had a K&N with a fully modded air box). will try to get pics of it.

Thanks I'm modifying what I can a little at a time, the economy is hurting my wallet right now... lol

a good and easy way to get a complete snake-theme is, if you're going to paint the covers, use thos net-stockings women use.

just spray your base colour, cover the cover with the stocking and spray with a second color...instand snakeskin!

Thanks man, well it was all hand biuld, I used a 100 degree 2.5in elbow then inside I used to 2.5to3in couplerswith a smallpiece of 3in pipe inbetween them. Then i cut the velosity stack to get the 2.5in coupler to be tight.  When i redo it i am going to use 2.5in instead of 3in and going to get a 2.5to 1.75in (the intake diameter). the filter is a K&N

First official post in this board, although I have been lurking in the darkest recesses of this place for a while now, digging up some good info and getting some good DIY step by steps together. Here is my '04 XB12R bought it this summer and scavenged for a race kit piece by piece and stripped her of any recognizable emblem, currently gathering every piece of carbon/billet I can get my hands on.

LVsleeper...is that a throttle-meister?
Posted:  15 Sep 2008 21:36 [?]
Looks like it. I just looked them up when I read that LeFox and they look like the best "CruiseControl" units for a bike iv seen. 125-140 bones though, just a bit on the spendy side. But this isnt a cheap 'hobby'

Yes that is a throttle-meister, I don't do a whole lot of freeway cruising but it does help on those long straight rides.
