HEY GUYS, TONS OF HELP ON HERE, BUT I CANT RESOLVE MY ISSUE.

GOT AN 05, NO MODS XB12. ALWAYS RUN 93, AND KEEP REGULAR SERVICE. COMING UP ON 18K.
FIRES AND RUNS, IDLE IS NORMAL, AND ALL RIDING ABOVE 2800 IS SMOOTH. IF I RIDE BELOW 2500, CRUISING THOUGH TOWN, IT BUCKS AND KICKS. IF I HOLD IT AT ABOUT 2400, IT RUNS LILKE A HIT & MISS MOTOR FROM 1910 AND SENDS ME INTO THE AIRBOX. ALMOST AS IF CUTTING OFF/MAJOR MISFIRE?? NO C.E.L.? IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT GEAR IM IN. FROM COLD START OR WHEN HOT. I HAVE LET IT SIT AND HEAT UP IN DRIVE, AND STILL SAME ISSUE. ANY HELP....THANKS! MICHAEL

get a k&n airfilter if you're going to cut open the airbox, but wait till you have a race ecm or remapped your current one.

more air needs more fuel!

he just killed his low-end power.
the valve is there to create more backpressure at low rpm's.

Everytime you do a mod the ECM needs to re-learn.  If it was a short ride there probably wasnt enough time for the ECM to recalibrate itself , not to mention get to the proper operating temperature.  If you can, jump on the expressway/highway for a good 15 minutes or so at a constant speed ( this works the best for me ).  The ECM is supposed to go into "closed loop" after riding 10min or so under 3k RPM, almost impossible to do in my book, so the expressway works fine for me

Sounds like this could be a wire pinched or rubbed through somewhere, maybe?
