| Does anybody have any good, power proven maps for Direct Link? A tech here is trying to get accustomed to the Direct Link tuning software and wants to look at some good maps. Any help would be great. | |

| I had my xb12 remapped with the direct link at Hals HD. Sam did a great job. I would call there and ask him about it... | |

Tried looking at their site, half English, half gibberish to me.
I find it hard to believe that nobody out there runs this stuff. Been trying to get a hold of ASB, but no call backs and Al isn't there when I call. |

| While we are on the Direct Link subject, I call me HD dealer and asked about reprogramming my 12r and the guy told me that I need a key to go between my ECM and the Direct Link program is that true. If so where do I get one. | |

Yes, you do need a little USB key. Americansportbike.com has them.

hey 08xb12r, how does the bike run with the drummer and filter? mine of course back fires and it always will im sure but does the filter help even with NO tune? or is it just running way to lean?
by the way i dynoed my bike and got 91.39 HP and 76.64 torque. im hoping with direct link it will go up a bit. i want atleast to be in the 100hp range. |

I just got done trying tune with directlink. After the install, a error message popped up saying “blaa blaa blaa contact technoresearch”. I did and they said because I had the new comfort flash (changing when the fan comes on) done to my bike it will not take the directlink tune. The thing that pisses me off is they told me to have H/D download the new software to the ECU. I would recommend not using directlink. I have to say Al at ASB has been very helpful through out this whole ordeal.
