Riding home tonight, I felt some oil on my left hand. I stopped and took a look, and lo and behold, the damn trans fluid was coming out of the end at the lever and covering my hand and the left controls.
Has anyone ever seen this? the only way I know this could happen is if the trans case became pressurized and the fluid was getting pushed up the cable housing. Sounds pretty far fetched I know, but judging by the puddle under the handlebar (about a pint!) it was pressurized quite a bit.
I'm hoping there is some kind of vent for the trans case like a big twin has, but I have yet to find it.
Does anyone have some suggestions as to what could be the cause and a possible fix? I'd appreciate it very much.

Your transmission breather is probably clogged and the cable should be replaced.
