are anyone elses headers turning blue after awhile?? ive my 12 for about three months and 2500 miles and i dont remember them being blue when i bought (used). i would think with fuel injection the mixture would be right and the pipes wouldnt change color.

If your run regular gas and not supreme it makes the engine run hotter resulting in hotter pipe temps. I am fairly new to the bike scene but I know this from many years of racing snowmobiles.

i think i have a temp problem anyway, i run supreme 93 but now that summer is here i notice things like the headers and a pinging in the motor when you get on. by next summer it will have all the cooling mods i can find on it.
