i heard if you put xb9 pistons in a xb 1200 you can get more compression and more power wondering if this is true!

if it's for added performance, i would go with some other cylinders, heads & pistons...

Sounds to me like a recipe for the worst case of blow by EVER. Seems like it would have no compression at all, but I'm just guessing

My understanding is that the bore is the same for both engines and the stroke is longer for the 12. But I doubt that the pistons are interchangable. You would probably hit your valves which makes for a bad day. Maybe BPG can get us some part numbers and some measurements on them as well as what the difference might be?

Why bother with that stuff?  Why not just get something like an Axtel kit or something?
