just replaced my low beam projector with the newer post-recall version. but when i put it all back together, it no longer lights up. any ideas (aside from the bulb going bad for some reason)? seams like a fairly simple plug n play. not sure how i managed to screw it up.

Did you chech your wire harness were it gos into the bike?
The ground wire was definitely reconnected. I'm gonna have to check where it plugs into the harness tomorrow. Got rained out today. I tried my best to not touch the bulb but I might have. Who knows? I'll pick up a cheap one to test out soon.
adrian: the chief and rick correct as usual. also: remove bulb/bulbs. take multi-meter and set to OHMS. check across the little pair of bulb terminals. you want infinite ohms. that eliminates the bulbs as the culprits.
