Well ive been on the forum for a while now and just bought my first bike last month. So that being said I think its time for me to properly introduce myself and my bike to this wonderful forum. For starters my name is Mike Heater i live in central New Jersey and am 20 years old. I first heard about Buell sport bikes from a kid i worked with whose dad raced Buells for a while so since that day i went from wanting an enduro to drooling over Buells. Only after 7 months of putting money to the side i now have my first bike and my first Buell. Her name is Christine after the Steven King movie because when i first looked at her she ran fine but once i got her in my hands i had nothing but problems for the first 2 weeks until i put some lovin and care towards her and took her on a couple rides she slowly came back to life!!!. Specs on her, Shes a 2003 XB9R that was originally white and one of the previous owners painted the plastics black with a blue flake. Has the factory race kit with intake, ECM, and exaust, and a dent in the frame from a drop (previous owner). A year ago when i first got my license i road my uncles Softtail around for a couple weeks and even tho it had a bigger motor (1450ccs) Christine hauls ass with all 984 of her's. Im already riding around now and will be every day unless its storming bad enough or snow is on the ground even if its 30degrees or 120. Any NJ or PA riders hit me up if you want to do a ride or if there is some kind of group thing let me know!!. Well heres the best part......PICS!!!!

Bike looks great! glad you're enjoying it. I'm partial to the white but the black looks good too. Take some wd40 and a rag to the engine covers, and some wd40 and a scotch brite pad to your exhaust headers, stick some frame puts on to cover that frame dent, and your bike will look like new!
I'd love to ride but I'm all the way on the other side of PA, there's definitely a few guy out your way though.

Ive got a double bubble windscreen (dark smoke) and seat quick release pins and a new mirror on their way. next week going to try and find a front fender and rear fender and right rider heel guard as well as frame pucks
