My brother & I just bought Michelin PP2CT's and none of our tires have the balance dot on them. Does Michelin use some other system to mark the heavy/light spot on the tire? I couldn't find anything distinctive on either the front or rear tire. Are they "that good" that it doesn't matter?

Nevermind...
From Badweb... "Also Michelin tires do not have reference dots. Instead there is a bar-code on the tire lip that is used as the heavy spot reference. So for Michelin tires line up the bar-code opposite the painted dot on the wheel." |
