Orrrrr... we meet in Rockaway Beach... that way we could run Miami River Rd and 53 then take a break in Seaside before heading up to Tads and the "fish fry" Ha.

"Time on my hands".. I get it!  hey, it's called the commercial fisherman lifestyle.. seasonal is the key word! (gotta' try & get in as much riding as I can before I head to AK for two+ months starting mid may!)

Yeah, RJ.. trying my best to chum you guys with "dreamy" photos.. (google images is ones friend, lol, you get the idea) ..but no, really, the Oregon coast comes alive when the sun shines!

Patrick, if interested, I could give you and your wife a tour of our coast guard boats Saturday morning if your meeting me here in depoe bay, that goes the same for any one passing through, any time, just let me know. Takes about 15-30 minutes, depending how many questions you have.

Either that or garibaldi. Garibaldi is close to the begining of Miami river rd. That is kinda halfway between thump and jugg and near some good ride routes heading North.

Totally open to suggestions tho.

Looking at maps wishing it was Saturday already.

If you have a sleeping bag and floor space I may take you up on that sat nite as well Tad. Turns out I have an inspection in Warrenton I can schedule for Sunday morn. Go figure eh? I will write off my gas!!!

Ok Patrick, be in depoe by 945? Quick tour of the boats and on the road in time to meet at the garibaldi eatery by noon, just meet up at the coast guard station in depoe bay, you can't miss it. One light in depoe bay, hang a left at it, follow it down the hill and turn right when you do a 90 degree turn at bottom of hill. Park pretty much anywhere you can by the big boat house on the water, cant miss the sign on the building. Or just gps it
