I just got a 2008 xb12scg. The first thing to go is the exhaust. I had a Hawk pipe on my last Buell and was happy with it, but money isn't as tight these days and the drummer is looking good. I really like the tip on the drummer and have heard that the exhaust note is about as deep as they come. Plus there is a lot of dyno info out there showing a good torque curve. The Hawk is inexpensive and nearly as good but there aren't any good dyno charts out there. I would be particularly interested if anyone had heard the two in person to compare. I want a pipe based on the stock pipe to retain the stock look and chin fairing.

    One of these.

Makes this on a stock motor xb9.

I don't hide my work by grinding the welds smooth. It is what it is.

If you want some thump, this will do it.

D adams, i looked at all yours and they are nice! I want a chin fairing and a good tune. I am looking specifically to get an ebr ecm to go with it. That is why i was looking at the others.

Tune should be forthcoming from EBR, unless you want it right now, then talk to Mike Cobb (xoptiinside) about tunes he has available.

I have chin fairing brackets as well, so that's covered.

Is ebr commited to make one? I kinda want to keep it plug n play. Are there any baffles or are these straight pipes?

you can see the baffles in the pics.

yes EBR now have a D Adams Keda muffler pre-programed Race ECM.

so it is now plug n play.

need to save my pennies for a full system.

They have 4 exhaust pipes of mine there right now. 3 are there for tuning, one is an RT-XB-1 and I know it will be tested on an xb12, I just don't know exactly when.
