in order for me to do so, i would need to know where you're from.
the part is 169€, but shipping differs. also if more need to be made, the price goes down... |

| in South Carolina.... actually thats basically as much as the carbon fiber one.. thats what I was trying to steer away from.. ~ $225... if the price goes down drastically with higher demand, I might be willing to buy.. Thanks anyways | |

well, in Dru's case, the order of a second intake would save him €17.50
maybe an idea is to group the order and that one in this group would be responsible for spreading them around? |

ok...for the others that want some more info...
a prototype for the 2008 XB model is in test-phase (headers are higher, thus there's no room for the rh airscoop in original shape) good info is that this scoop would also fit the older models with micron exhaust system!

| i have a 2003 xb9r and i was wondering if the carbon fiber right scoop will fit my bike. there is a bar that connects to the frame and the engine. it is behind the front header, but i am wondering if you have to modify the airscoop to go around this rod. | |

Whitefirebolt9r,
Your '03XB9 should be the same as mine and the one I got from ASB fit not problem. I would say that you should look for a specific year/model type when purchasing. And you should look to see what people are recommending. I was pretty glib w/my carbon right side scoop till I got to really look @ it. Its shape is all wrong and I think I'll either be ditching it, or may be looking into replacing it with another. Live and learn... Robtk! a.k.a. "SpecialK!" Quote:

(this is also the case with micron headers). |
