I recently saw the radiantz LED tail light and knew I had to have one. However I thought that the rear was a little funky with the existing tail light slot still there, so I custom fabled the rear to get rid of the existing tail light hole. Thought I'd show it off.
Where do I put my money for one of these!?! :)
Looks much better without the tail light there. Good job
:)
is it nice and secure on there?
is it glued, double sided tape?
i like the look. how is it in terms of brightness over the stocker vs the XBLights?
ive got an XBLights and that damn thing is super bright. id be afraid to go any less output with crazzy a$$ people on the roads.
jcastro I fabled it up myself.. I did take pictures of the process if anyone is interested. I can post those up later.
the LED is super bright (brighter than factory tail light) and it is double sided tape, however very very sticky tape. I just barely touched one end of the blinker in the wrong spot and It didn't want to come back off, and that was just a little part of it, so I'm confident that it will stay on (at least for a while LOL)
I did however a few days prior to putting the tail light on, I zip tied the tail light in the shape of the tail piece, so that it would sit and form to that shape to eliminate it trying to straighten out when I put it on. however the tape is so sticky I don't think there would have been a problem. It did probably make installation a little easier with it already curved though.
id like to do a version of that, but machine the tail section to make the light almost flush with the aluminum. counter sink it, per se
