Here's the one Randy made for me with a 3.25" SS outlet. He was more than willing to work with my ideas.

| 2yld, weather didn't cooperate with me before I sent mine to Randy so I only have post Hawk/K&N Dyno. Lucked out at that too because when I brought mine in for a loose primary, i found out it was $20 Dyno day. | |

| 2yld how much power did you make with the mods? What year/model do you have? I'm going to be sending my exhaust off to Randy asap which will most likely be Monday. It just bugs me to no end when I can't hear my bike due to the honda with a coffee can muffler sitting beside me at a red light. | |

Dallas, you won't hear the Honda after hawking it.
My dyno run showed the nice smooth torque curve. No dips or spikes. The guys at the shop loved the tone as well. They said it was close to, if not the loudest Buell pipe they heard. Loud without the sharp crack that some pipes can develop. |

Actually, I posted a thread with the dyno chart. And yes there is definitely an improvement. Hawk plus K&N works nice. Air Fuel mix was good too. Not lean.

| I tossed in a new map to start with the Hawk pipe, rode it around for 30 minutes, and let megalog do its thing and put the new map back in the bike. The bike feels the best it has ever, Randy answered tons of questions over the phone, helped me get started with the maps, and walked me through a few other mods he has done to his. Great customer service, super fast turn around on pipe, great sound! I can really feel the bass in it. THE BEST PART IS IT IS AFFORDABLE! Thanks Randy! | |

| I shipped it off yesterday. It took me a while cuz they origionally wanted to charge me $115 to ship it. I went back yesterday and it was only like $50 so I'm thinking it was some foul play in there somewhere. Anyway he should have it by Wed. of next week so keep your fingers crossed! He said it won't take long to get it ready. | |

Is this exhaust basically the same as a drummer, i.e. gut everything out of the stock bike and shorten it a little and you're done?
Anyone know? If that's the case I'll do it myself... if there is more to it (which I doubt), I'll send mine to Hawk as well. |

I respect what Special Ops, Drummer and Hawk are doing: a lot of ppl don't have the tools or skills to cut up the stock exhaust and weld it back together, so they have a place.
I also think that if indeed all these supposedly AMAZING pipes are nothing more than a gutted stock pipe (basically like a Jardine, which is just a tube with packing in it), Hawk is the only one charging a reasonable price for the job... Now can someone direct a flash light into the tip of their Hawk exhaust and tell us what they see?
