I've been using the mobile vtwin 20w-50 for a while now and was thinking of switching to a cheaper 20-50. The mobile vtwin is about 10 bucks a piece. Has anyone had any horror stories about the cheaper 20w50? I just cant stomach shelling that money out anymore just because it says "vtwin" or "mobile" on the bottle.

It needs to be suitable for wet clutch systems...
To me a good oil is cheaper than an engine rebuild.....
I use Amsoil 20w-50.

This guy is a buddy of mine, veteran, and uses the profits from his amsoil business to support his racing, cheaper than anywhere else for me when I ordered a case. http://www.synthoilsnw.com/

All repetitive threads should start being deleted and not answered. There is tons of info on this topic, and breather reroutes, and what program to use to tune my bike, and the list goes on.
There is a great way to search go to google type in site:buellxb.com and what you are searching for, boom there are tons of threads that you read to get the answer!
:)
You guys are jerks! He has a legit question just answer it. Worst part about this, you are all holding out info like its a trade secret...
We all know cheetah blood in both holes, and unicorn farts inthe tank.
**** while we're at it, wheel bearings, charging system test? Best exhaust? What do you use to tune ECMspy or tunerpro? Where can i get an extended swing arm? I think helmets are for sissies, and gear is for soft skinned.
by God...an oil thread. where the hell is Lesley when we need him?
IMO...amsoil 20-50 in the primary for super slick shifting and smooth clutch action.
any good quality 20-50 house-brand "on sale" oil will suffice for the motor. heat is the enemy so change it every 3000 miles or thereabouts.
