| Just installed a Jardine on my 09XB12Ss a week ago. Evere since I have had it on I can hear more engine noise than before with the stock pipe. Is this normal considering the different tones of the 2 exhausts. I seem to remember a similar ocurance when I installed a super trapp on my old KLR650 a few years ago. Nothing else has been done to the bike other that it just came back from service 2 days before I installed the pipe. | |

| Never thought that wrapping it would make that much difference. Does the headeres have to come off to wrap them? Where is a good source for the wrap? Of course it has to be black. The weather has been warmer as well but not crazy hot. 20 Degrees Celcius | |

| just buy header wrap and start wrapping. you dont need to take the header off. i would buy good brackets for the auto parts store though, the ones they give you in the sets suck. but yes wrapping got rid of my engine noise and made the exhaust sound a little deeper. i like it.. keep in mined after you wash the bike or ride in the rain the wrap will get wet causing a lot of steam to come off the header. looks like the bike is on fire at stop lights. kinda funny | |
