Im interested in the Xopti map.. Are they available on his site? I saw a few available downloads ie. "BUECB" "BUECG" ...What are those because they a vary drastically... Do I need to get a specific map directly from him for my setup? I want to contribute for his time and am willing to give him a decent donation but I figured if I get it here or from him I will still pay him for a piece of his time..

Mike no longer offers tuning, though that might change here in the near term. He has some plans to help those of you who aren't ready to tune yourselves, but need to adjust fuel/timing maps (as well as a whole host of other options).
The BUECB/BUEZD/BUECG are configurations for the Buell ECMs. If you connect to ECMSpy and fetch your map, you'll be able to determine which ones you have. The links he has are to tuner pro .xdf files, which, when loaded into TunerPro and combined with a .epr or .bin eeprom, decipher the hex into usable data. Combine the TunerPro + .xdf file for your configuration and a datalogging method (LC-1, WB O2, and software), and you can tune all on your lonesome without needing anyone else to help you out. |

Thanks Octopus,, Yea Im certainly not ready to tune myself and although I understand your explanation I am not confident enough to tackle it unfortunately..I purchased a brand new race ecm off of ebay for 150 and I think I might just settle with that one for now.. or burn it it onto my stock ecm if its as easy as it seems.

| Yeah, you definitely didn't need to buy a race ECM. Would have been just as easy to buy a cable and flash a race map to your stock ECM. Quick and easy. | |

I bought the cable and bought the race map as a accidental back up I guess.. I can resell it no prob for the same price... Do you have any maps for me!!!

| wow I did not know people was selling those. I know a few guys are selling the cable and giving the maps, ecmspy, and the drivers free on a disc with there cable. | |

Oh, thank god. I thought you shelled out 150 to someone who only provided you with a map + cable. I'm glad you got a race ECM for the cash.
If I were you, I'd just turn around and sell it. We can get you a race map for your year/model, and you can turn your stock ECM into a race ECM for free (well, free minus the cost of a cable). |

| I have the exact year bike as nomadic with the same mods. Only difference is I put in Iridium plugs and just went to synthetic oil. Bike has 3500 miles on it now. I REALLY NEED A RACE MAP for a 2006 XB12ss with a drummer exhaust,ECMspy,airbox delete,K&N filter. Also the interactive exhaust was deleted. My firmware is BUEIB310 and the Calibration ID: is 54:US if that helps. Any help from anyone would be appreciated! | |

| I have a 03 XB9S with stock ECM, K&N air filter and Jardine slip on. I have tried loading the race maps to my stock ECM with ECMSPY. Whenever i do and go to accelerate the bike falls flat. Anyone experience this?? | |
