I have read that ridden back to back some people didn't like the feel/handling of the SS.
I happened to just sit on the both and noticed the top heavy feel of the SS where as the SCG was very light feeling, for my height the SCG is a tad small and the SS is about right, might have to shave an bit of the seat to be flat footed. I was told that feeling goes away once you ride it for a while. Who has ridden both and has an unbiased opinion? Pros and Cons. Thanks. |

| I rode both when i bought my 09 scg, obviously I liked the SCG better, but im only 509 175 lbs. It does get a little cramped on long rides though, but turns quiker, if thats important to you. On the test rides they adjusted he suspension for me on both, when pulling back into the dealer the SCG bottomed out and the SS did not, so think about suspension travel too. if not, if I was taller I would get an SS. but after a while both will feel good. | |

Thanks Gj.
I'm the same height as you, about 10 lbs less, rode dirt-bikes most of my life, so I liked the feel of the SS. The SCG felt and looked small with me on it, being that I still wanted that Super-moto feel, I think the SS is my choice so far... Definitely will adjust the suspension even re-valve if need be to suit me! Having had a broken leg, my knee flexion is not the same as before, so I figure the cramped feel with get to me after a while on the SCG. As for for turning quicker, no issue for me. |

I was also looking at both when I bought my '09 Ss...
The Scg was just WAY too small for me, I can stand flat footed with my Ss (6'1", 185lbs). She does fell a litle top heavy with a full tank of gas, but once moving, she'll kill any corner! |
