Just bought a SS swingarm from a member here, and it does'nt have the brace that closes the belt access opening.
Are all the 06+ braces alike ? If I buy one from, let say from a XBR(or a regular S), will it fit ? Same swingarm, second question. Are the tire huggers the same(for 06+) or does the SS have a "special" model ? Would a hugger from a R(or a regular S) fit ? Thanks ! |

quick answer yes/no
long answer yes any 2006 and up brace will work. in the picture you can see a 2006 "Ss" swingarm (painted xb9 silver to match frame) with a graphite grey 2008 xbr swingarm brace. the rear hugger is different on the "Ss" (see picture) but you can use the standard xbr/s rear fender but you can not use the belt guard.

| Bahhh, I don`t care for it, even the fender will have to be cut a bit. Those things are HUGE ! I like better the fenders of the 05 and prior. | |

You can cut the regular S/R hugger to fit, look up jakestolar he did it.
Edit: Pic of his bike with Ss with small S/R hugger.

Hey people !
Quick question, hope to have good answer fast !I have an 05 XB12Scg and I'm changing my swingarm for an SS. I know I have to put 06-07 oil lines from an SS. Are lines from an Ulysse XB12X good for me ? Ok, I have another question. Would you buy this , considering the shipping cost ? I still have to check how much are the oil lines here in Canada at my not so Buell freindly H-D dealer but I think it will be over 150-200$ canadian(thinking at least 50$ each) .... Thanks. |

| Since your in Canada I doubt the shipping cost is going to be $15.... The price for the oil lines, is not bad at all though. Especially since they are throwing in the oil cooler lines too. | |
