| there is oil in the engine and the swingarem right have changed the oil in the swingarm noticed there is a drain plug in the engine and when i opened it the oil in it looks whitish brown is it oil or somethin else | |

| hey if you opend the plug on the engine that is the primary fluid! the oil plug is on the underside of the swingarm. | |

| and water could be getting into your primary from your clutch cable. do you still have the boot covering the adjuster? you can put a small zip tie on the top to help keep the water out | |

Left side of bike behind the cover shaped like a "cowboy hat" with bike held vertical, not on kickstand like the engine.
Check out the free downloadable Service manuals via the links at the top of this page, won't match you're year/model of bike but the general maintenance is basically the same for all. |

look at the manual above. it's super easy and totally detailed. you will want to figure out how to open it either way so you know where to fill it to. |

link I posted has pic half waydown that shows where.....this is cut/paste from that post
'the actual amount may very slight but for the most part it is about 1 quart . you just fill up to the bottom of clutch diaphragh spring (the teeth ) where the dotted line is (#4) in the pictue below. use a flash light and pour very slowly.making sure the bike is evenly up right or you could under or over fill.' |
