I recently purchaced an 08 xb12scg and when I removed the tank plastic,I noticed that a sloppy plastic melted piece from where the screen air intake is molded to the tank plastic was very jagged and was rubbing into the fuel line!! I'm glad i caught it soon because as we all know, with the way the front end shakes, it might not have taken long to saw thru and start a leak! Has anyone else noticed this??

Are you talking about the fuel BREATHER line coming off the tank by the filler cap?

it is the one that runs in a grooved track on the top of the air box lid. Is that just a breather line?
