Thread: Which Xb has the best suspension?

  1. #1
Out of all the xb's which one has the best suspension? And to my knowledge the scg is the smallest out of the Xbox line up length and height correct?

    What do you consider best?

I would venture to say that the scg/sl has a stiffer ride due to the shorter suspension travel and the uly has the softest...not 100% sure, but that'd be a pretty safe bet.

The standard S and R suspensions are nearly identical (if not completely).

They're all good for the bike which they're fitted too. It's a matter of finding a bike that fits you and your riding style. The scg is the least TALL of all I believe.

'Best' suspension can only really be assessed relative to your own body dimensions and your type/style.
    - If you ride hard on smooth pavement, any of the standard S or R models are probably optimal
    - If you ride rougher roads, or off-road, something with longer travel, like a Uly will work better
    - If you're shorter & just can't handle a taller saddle, then the Cg might give you some confidence, but at the cost of flickability

Most of the time it will be a hard surface, possibly some dirt roads every now and then. I'm 6' at 170lbs. I would prefer it not to be to soft and not stiff. Would you say that they come stock bout in the middle? And from what I read on here it looks like most of the xb line up all have interchangeable parts, is this true obviously to an extent?

All the suspensions are adjustable. Compression and rebound dampening as well as preload.

Find the bike that fits your riding style, then you adjust the suspension to your weight and personal preference.
