Are you starting a Buell shop? Ha why do you need so many parts?
Good and bad that is....
Started off good, went to thrstrmech's house to buy a few spare parts and left there with everything but his bike...
2 Full sets of plastics, an R tail frame, frame, swing arm, and a box of other stuff
Then onto the bad, clutch ramp surface on the primary cover broke, already ordered the fix
Good thing I have some good friends to sit at the bar with me waiting for another good friend to show up with a truck
Then back to good, when I got home my girlfriend had another air box cover and fly screen she picked up for me, no more repaired and painted air box cover for me
There were too many white Buells in AZ so I had to start buying all of them...

Lol, no, and I don't need them.
Also, don't look at this as me trying to be the next Paul or Jeff or Squidbuellie... Like I said I went there to just buy a couple parts he had that I wanted to have as spares. Also my friend wanted a set of plastics he had, which is why only one set is pictures. Anyways, when I was there I started to see more and more I wanted, and we made a deal on the whole lot. Honestly I am hoping to find a cheap salvaged bike with a bad frame, and swap it over and any other parts it might need to get another Buell back on the road. At that point I might use that bike as the daily rider and keep fixing up my current bike as my nice bike.
Now, if I have something someone needs, I would be happy to help them out and get them the part. So if anyone needs something I have, let me know, but most of it I want to hang on to.
Alright that's cool. More Buells on the road the better in my opinion. I just only really looked into Buell in any depth just a couple weeks ago before I bought my firebolt. I fell in love with it when I saw it on craigslist. I don't know what HD was doing thinking they shouldn't keep up the Buell line. It appeals to younger guys like me (24) much more than the old school cruisers Harley has.
Glad you had a good friend!
I fixed my clutch issue, what about you? Robin is good people, my first Buell forum friend met in real life. If i had the funds ready id buy his xb9
It all sounds like your day was better, you wound up with a lot of cool stuff that's a plus and your primary can be fixed and you got the bike home. All is will that ends well.
Buell Christmas in June:D :p
glad to see the parts will do some good and put another Buell on the road, maybe help; a few others on the way.
Ordered the repair kit for the clutch, need to order a primary cover gasket and I should be on the road before next weekend. Already have the other gaskets from my purchase earlier yesterday
All in all could have been a worse day, could have tried to ride 20 miles home with no clutch, instead just went across the parking lot to the bar to wait for the truck, even just that short ride in the parking lot I had to lock it up to stop when a truck stayed stopped longer than I anticipated.
