Whats the going price for a select seat? The couple ive seen go for big bucks, which doesnt make sense considering a custom baldwin goes for less than they sold for. Im still looking for a select seat, but they may all go for too much.

Baldwin will still make you a seat if you contact them and send one in. The select can go for up to 400 still.
Keep looking, you may find a good deal pop up.

    Hobby10k,

I got Addis Custom Upholstery in Anderson SC to copy a Baldwin from my stock seat. I just used a photo of one of Baldwin's and they did the Gel plus memory foam with carbon fiber inserts for 200 bucks. This shop does all the local HD dealers custom harleys. Just Mr Addis and his son, small shop but great work. His number is 864-225-2644. They not open on weekends though. You could probably call them and just ship it to them, save you a bunch over the rest. he can even do colored stiching to match your plastic if you want it. He has done 3 seats for me. This Buell seat with the gel and memory foam is so comfortable you will not believe it. Hope the info helps. Mike

    Hobby,

you could also just buy a cheap seat on ebay and send it to Addis and have him do it so your not out a seat and can't ride, or wait till winter if you have non riding weather where you are and do it in off season. I had another seat and had him do mine, then sold my touring seat on ebay. This seat is way better.

I bought my select from a guy on Craigslist for 100 this summer. I was just rummaging through ads in the surrounding 5 states and was lucky enough to find a guy willing to sell it separately from his bike. Just a little tear on the back end. Also found one for my buddy for 140 a couple months ago, his was in a little worse shape.
