| i have an 06 xb12s lightning with no mods or changes , in perfect condition , with 2600 mi. bought it new. kbb est. is under 5 k ! what the #@!$#! am i doing or seeing something wrong with this picture? do any of you ? i know the economy is bad but c'mon, this is a beautiful machine! | |

What it's worth and what you can sell it for are two different subjects. Remember, your selling a collectors item not just an 06 xb12.

I would say $5k is about right, search around guys are selling 2009 with less than 1500 miles for $6k. The bottom fell out on Buell last fall and so did the value.
Now is not the time to sell a Buell, I am sure anyone on here will agree with this. I had a year old CR with practically no miles lined up for $5800, but decided to rebuild my current bike. The prices you see might not be what you want but they are correct given Buell's current status. If you hold off for possibly a year or two and just enjoy the bike while doing so I would think your bike will just retain its value yet you will have a couple years of fun on it. |
