I recently purchased a 2003 XB9 and when the bike is cold the neutral light works as advertised.  As soon as the bike warms up the light stays on fulltime.  Without ever owning a Buell or working on one I would imagine it is something simple as a switch adjustment.  I just thought I would ask the experts.  Thanks in advance for any help.

What is involved with changing it and approx how much do they cost if you don't mind me asking.

Locate it on the tranny, unplug it, unscrew it, screw in the new one, plug it in.

about $18 bucks

P/N/ - 33900-99 - Neutral switch

       6288 - Sealing washer

Fantastic thanks....  I prefer to do my own maintenance on all of my vehicles (Air Force aircraft mechanic who get enough), is there a better service manual than the other?  I hope to not work on it at all, but a manual is always good to have.  Thanks again for your help!!!!

I guess I'm not sure what youre asking.  I'm sure other people make manuals, but the Buell one is the best, hands down.
