There's a 20k odd mile one here local for 4. Looks well maintained. How nice of a uly u looking for?
Like it says. I feel like I would love this bike. I have the zx10r and am thinking about selling and taking the money and buying an Uly. I am nervous about getting back into the Buells. I may never be able to resell. And I buy and sell a lot. By far, the Buells are the hardest to resell. If someone knows of a good deal on one let me know.

I have a low mileage, fully farkled one in mint condition in northeast Pa.
I would want a low mile decent shape bike. They look very comfy! Are they really though everyone says so. i would like to ride one before I sell the Ninja though.
Called on the one in Des Moines. I really want that bike!
They are pretty comfortable and they just eat up miles like it's nothing.
Of all the Buell's the Uly is the ONLY model that holds a decent resale. But they only sell to a very particular niche so honestly of you plan on buying it with the intentions of selling it, get something else instead. A Buell is not an investment, it's a purchase. I'm sure you have learned that the hard way already. The market for xb's is much larger than that of the 1125 though. In my area xb prices are slowly but steadily increasing, where 1125 values are dropping.
What kind of riding are you planning on doing & why are you thinking about the Uly? You're going to find the XB pretty sedate compared to your litre bike, but perhaps that's exactly the change you're looking for(?). If you've already owned a Buell, are you sure you want to go back? It's pretty easy to romanticize bikes once they've been sold. There's lots of other great ADV bikes out there & the selection has never been better; why not consider something else?I have the zx10r and am thinking about selling and taking the money and buying an Uly. I'd suggest that your observation could be extended to the XB2 chassis, which was also used on the Ss & TT models, in general. I rode my Ss for 3 years & put 16,000km (10,000mi) on it, before selling it for exactly what I paid for it. There was plenty of interest in it & in retrospect, I probably could have asked more.Of all the Buell's the Uly is the ONLY model that holds a decent resale. My observations concur with this too. Being more of a performance bike, the 1125s are growing obsolete at a faster rate than the XBs.1125 values are dropping
I may just be romanticizing. I thought the xb9 was underpowered hence why I got the 1125r. The 1125r was ugly and as far as performance goes... meh... I have mixed emotions about the 1125.
I commute about 50 miles a day and need something I can put lunch, some small hand tools, an extra set of clothes and milk in. The backpack is gay it weighs me down.
I think if I got an Uly or sport touring bike I would slow it down too. The Ninja is quick, fast, smart and agile.
When going the speed limit I feel like I am walking. Boring...
Everything I buy is a purchase. I always lose money on my toys.
The Uly just seems very practical. I need a street bike. Not a track bike on the street.
