Hi, I am a previous owner of a 1997 Thunderbolt, and I just bought a new 2007 XB12X. It is my first fuel injected Buell. I am past the break in period on the Ulysses, and am now starting to ride a little harder. The power delivery is not smooth, it seems to bog when it hits 4000 rpm. And at a steady pace , it lurches. I can actually see the RPM needle move slightly. I am bringing it to the dealership this Saturday, however, I would love to go in with an idea of what could be the cause, and have less running around. Any suggestions  would be well appreciated! Paul from NB Canada

TPS zero and ECM re-flash and you should be set.

Is that something that the dealership should know?

Hey BPG, I brought my Ulysses to my dealership Saturday, and they ended up keeping it there as they could not finish, or I should say, they wanted to keep it for part of the week to do a few drive tests. They did what you had suggested (TPS zero and ECM re-flash), but then, on the reading after that, the o2 sensor reading was all over the place. They mention it might have something to do with when they installed my heated grips 2 weeks ago.Any thoughts ?

Sorry for the long delay in responding, however, I was out having fun on my Uly! They ended up replacing the 02 sensor and it is running very strong now. Thanks a lot for the good advice and help!
