Thread: rough rpm range

  1. #1
My bike an 07 Uly will pull the front wheel in 2nd gear around 3k - 3500 rpm range with a twist of the wrist. My question is about the rough cruise in the 2500 to 3500 rpm range while cruising in this range regardless of the gear it seems ruff. I can run through the gears and rpm range and it pulls great. Is this just something I need to learn to live with? The bike has a K&N filter and Hawk exhaust with Hawk provided fuel maps.

Are you talking about a surge in that RPM range?

    I guess I don't understand "rough cruise".

It almost feels like a miss, no surge but if i holdmthe throttle pisition it is rough maybe a slight surge hard to tell more like a misfire, just rough.
