A friend of a friend of mine just bought a 2000 X1.  He has asked me to come over this weekend and have a look at it.  Is there anything in paticular I should be checking?  Other than the normal stuff obviously.  Im not real familiar with the X1's.  Basically all he has said is that it runs fine and the motor is colossaly noisy, I told em thats normal but he still wants me to hear it to confirm.  Any input for things to check would be great, thanks

check if all recalls have been done. enter the vin here and you'll get a list of recalls which should have been done

Exactly what I was lookin for thanks.  I guess that Belgians are good for more than waffels and chocolates
