Pockets;
Sorry, I had to take my internet down for a bit. (was fixing a friends computer and didn't want it infecting my machines) It should be up and running. -Adam |

| Thanks Stevec150! Are there any general rules when tuning for the first time? Big "do's & don'ts"? | |

Big Do: Save a copy of your EEPROM as-is. That way you've always got it to fall back on if something goes wrong. In fact, it'd be best to save 2 copies so if one computer goes down, you've still got it on a thumbdrive or disc.
Also, the key has to be on to work on the bike with ECMSpy, so pull the headlight fuse to save your battery. |

I'm interested too. I found a torrent for v1.12.1, but I'd like to have a more recent version.
Thanks! |

Ok, it should be up and running. Please let me know if it's not...
Just some details, cause I enjoy showing off my epic nerdy-ness: The server is actually a media center computer, serving multiple purposes. It main use is as a media center running XBMC installed on top of Ubuntu 9.10. I also use it to browse the web, as a file server, and as a web server. It's an Intel Atom 330, with Nvidia's ION chipset (Zotac ION-ITX), 200GB HD, 2GB of shared RAM (512 for video), gigabit lan, onboard HDMI. In the near future I plan on installing a couple of 1.5TB hard drives (mirrored raid) for video/music/file storage, and putting the thing in a respectable case. The recent outage was the result of me switching back to a Ubuntu system instead of Kubuntu. (KDE was being a huge pain in my side) Here she be:
This is my other baby, the main reason for building the computer: 63 inches of pure bigscreen goodness.
And just for a laugh, this is the router I use: (no, I'm not joking. I used to have a Netgear router but it kept freezing up, so I tossed this beast together. Its an old P3 with 512MB of ram running IPCop. She pulls about 1/3 of an amp at full load. Maybe some day I will find a case for her, but for now she just sits there screwed to the wall)

Buellyses, the download you currently have is ECMSpy 1.12.26.
I've acquired the latest version which is 1.12.27 If it's not too much trouble, would you update the download from your site to be this newer version? I'll email it to you if you agree. Again, thanks for hosting this.

| No. 08+ won't work with ECMSpy....yet. There is a new version in the works, but it's not out yet. From the factory, the 08+ bikes have a learning ECM that will compensate for exhaust OR intake mods, but not both. | |

| Backfires are normal to some extent. My 09 XB9SX does it on decel and I only have a DIY pipe and no filter mod. Getting a tune done by an actual shop or getting a EBR ECM are probably your only options right now. | |

Will I be fine without the remap on an 06 9sx??
I am currently running a Drummer, Air-box delete w/k&n, breather re route and Buell's platinum plugs. Will I be running lean? I don't feel like changing plugs every 1000 miles. If so.. Anyone willing do do it for me in the Chicago(ish)area for some $ PM me if you are willing to do me the favor
