Okay I know this isn't the best exhaust mod, but after seeing Loose Cannon's idea, I decided to try it myself. I used a prybar to punch 2 slits in the outlet pipe (a la the old Harley punched out baffles trick). It wasn't loud enough so then I punched another slit sideways forming an "H". At first it sounded really "tinny" but after a TPS reset and another ECM relearn on the freeway, when I got home the exhaust sounded deeper than when I started. I know there's no packing to burn in, but whatever happened while on my test ride, the exhaust sounds meaner than ever. Hope this helps for anyone who is thinking of going this route until a real exhaust. Best part is - $0 spent!
